Assessment of gender-sensitive value chains and market dynamics for local, national and export markets and review of potential conservation incentives for sustainable palm oil and cocoa supply chains in Liberia – Conservation International (CI), Liberia.

The assessment involved assessment and review of existing value chain structure and capacity, leveraging documentary evidences from literature and field study, which involved data gathering and interactions with value chain stakeholders in the project counties of Northwest Liberia (Bomi, Cape Mount, Gbarpolu and Lofa Counties).

The agricultural value chains assessed were cocoa, palm oil, rice, cassava, vegetables, ecotourism and non-timber forest products (NTFP).
